We believe our greatest strength is our people and are especially proud to support veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and families by offering meaningful careers that recognize and value their skills and service.We are looking for a RANGE SCHEDULING OPTIMIZATION SME to support the Test Resource Management Center (full time, civil contract) in Alexandria, VA  Job DescriptionAssist the Director and Deputy Director to improve Range Access to Accelerate Innovation by supervising and managing all aspects of the Range Scheduling and Optimization mission for the TRMCLead and manage TRMC-sponsored infrastructure and solutions development to increase Department of War (DoW) test range capacity by conducting and documenting complex test range gap analysis, development of suitable technology requirements and solutions, and alignment to investment prioritiesSupport the use of digital engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning technologies to support DoW testing environmentsSupervise the development and assessment of using new technologies, new techniques, and new processes to drive competition to solve challenging test range scheduling difficultiesWorks closely with the Director and Deputy Director and portfolio and program managers to ensure range scheduling optimization investments are aligned to current and future DoW testing needsSteer technology and support tool development to support multi-domain activities tailored to individual range domains, assets, and local realities, meshed with DoW test and training requirements through asset management/redesign and scheduling improvement options and alternativesExecutes other duties as assigned by the Director and or Deputy Director TRMCTravel may be requiredRequirements12+ years of prior directly relevant experience; Relevant DoW Air Operations, Airfield management, and Test Range manager and user experienceKeen understanding of managing RDT&E programs and prototypes to support efficient and cooperative DoW technology testing efficiencyPrior leadership of multi-organizational collaborative DoW Test Range infrastructure and capability development projectsStrong analytic, administrative, communication, computer, and organizational skillsSolid test planning and integration skillsLeadership / Management ExperienceActive Top Secret Clearance, SCI eligibleDesired SkillsTeam oriented and team building of external TRMC stakeholders (DoW Test Ranges)Executive Level briefing skillsSelf-motivated: proactiveStrong analytical skills/attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office application and accounting softwareWHAT WE OFFER:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package, including Health & Welfare Benefits, Vacation, federal holidays. Come join our team! We encourage our Veterans and Military Spouses to apply and self-identify during the recruitment process.General Infomatics (GI) is a minority-owned, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), headquartered in McLean, VA.
