Location Addison, Illinois. This is a hands‑on, primarily in‑office position where you'll work closely with leadership and operations teams. Occasional remote flexibility is available when personal matters arise. Note Direct construction accounting experience is required. Candidates with experience in job costing and construction financial operations will be strongly preferred. Job Description Oversee day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations. Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasting activities. Maintain job costing and work‑in‑progress reporting. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Partner with ownership and operations leadership on financial strategy. Manage banking relationships and support audits. Analyze financial performance and recommend process improvements. Provide leadership and support to accounting functions. Help drive the financial success of the organization. Qualifications 4+ years of accounting experience required. Direct construction accounting experience required. Strong understanding of job costing and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management preferred. Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant experience preferred. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required. CPA is a plus.
