Req ID 90695 | North Charleston, SC, United States ZF CV Systems North America LLCAbout the TeamThe position will be split between leading Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and Launch Readiness activities. The ideal candidate would have a strong knowledge of quality and project management. What you can look forward to as Plant Quality Engineer:Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for QMS topics, standards, certifications, and customer-specific requirements.Manage QMS compliance, audits, and continuous improvement activities in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.Act as lead internal auditor and coordinate internal, external, process, and system audits.Lead cross-functional teams in audit preparation, execution, and corrective action problem solving.Manage document control, calibration support, and quality system orientation training.Manage plant program/project industrialization, engineering changes, and special customer or project builds.Identify, manage, and escalate Operations Launch Management deliverables, checkpoints, APQP gate reviews, and milestones.Lead plant core team coordination to reduce launch delays and ensure timely completion of launch deliverables.Your profile as Plant Quality Engineer:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or related field3+ years minimum experience in Quality Management Systems within Automotive industry or manufacturing industriesStrong Project Management and Launch Readiness ExperienceComprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirementsPrior experience leading IATF certification processProficiency in quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, and Control PlansAbility to work in teams and multi-tasking capabilitiesAbility to drive sense of urgency and influence across the organizationCertified Internal Auditor or Lead auditor (ISO9001/IATF16949) preferred Why you should choose ZF:A supportive collaborative team environmentAnnual Incentive PlanPaid Vacation401k PlanHealth Care BenefitsPaid Holidays A strong diversity cultureSupportive Employee Groups and community outreach activitiesBe part of our ZF team as Plant Quality Engineer and apply now!ContactBethany VijayakumarDIVERSITY COMMITMENT: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are more than just words for us.
