Description Patient Benefit Rep (PBR) Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage Review insurance cards Confirm insurance is active/effective Verify required authorizations are attached to medications/treatments Check outstanding patient balances Review and manage hold bills Pull PLEs from the system Work schedules approximately 2 days in advance Patient & Call Volume Patient volume varies based on provider schedules Typically sees 5-10 patients per day per representative Limited phone work: Minimal outbound calling Few inbound calls Approximately 5-7 phone conversations per day Front Desk Responsibilities, be able to jump in when needed Skills Customer service, Insurance Verification, Emotional Intelligence, Front Desk, Healthcare Top Skills Details Customer service,Insurance Verification Additional Skills & Qualifications Software systems: Athena and G2 Emotional Intelligence Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Denton, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
