Job Title: L&D Location: Nashua, New Hampshire Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 4 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate : $72 - $77/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a L&D: Deliver care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children, and families across the continuum of care and across the woman's lifespan Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with AWHONN Standards For Professional Nursing Practice in the Care of Women and Newborns, 7th Edition (2009) Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes Effectively interact with patients and their significant others while maintaining the standards of professional nursing Assist the obstetrician, pediatrician, anesthesia team, and healthcare team in their tasks to care for the patient Provide circulation experience and willingness to care for GYN surgical and general post-op patients Provide post-partum care with a minimum of 5 years of labor and post-partum experience Maintain active RN License and current BLS certification Work every 3rd weekend as required Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess good oral and written communication skills Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff in accordance with established policies and procedures Demonstrate patient-centered and patient-valued behaviors Maintain organization and achieve a high level of accuracy in daily work Perform other general responsibilities as assigned Benefits for a L&D: Weekly pay every Friday Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/Pet Insurance 401K Retirement Plan (matching) Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $1,500 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
