• Monday - Friday schedule with beeper call at a 4 - 6 ratio
• 5 - 7 patients per shift
• Inpatient and outpatient rounding -- complex GI patients
• Scheduled colonoscopies followed by inpatient consults
• Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS, and liver biopsy required
• Esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy required
• Lower GI endoscopy and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management required
• Leave coverage -- 7-day assignment
