Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician you will deliver exceptional primary care within our rural/underserved track for Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Maricopa, Arizona. In this role, you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well‑being of your patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician. You will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a dedication to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to patients. You will exhibit effective communication skills and thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Outpatient + Inpatient teaching service coverage and/or Family Medicine Obstetrics
• Outpatient Mon‑Fri days with dedicated non‑clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements
• Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular
• Call is 1:4 or less (by telephone only with residents being first call)
• Outpatient: 16 patient‑facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours per week
• Inpatient: Every 4th week or less frequently, 1 week at a time x 7 days with compensation days provided (No outpatient duties during inpatient week or post‑inpatient compensation days)
• Avg 18‑24 patients per day on outpatient days
• Great MA support + RN onsite
• Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix–Open rank based on prior experience and academic output
• Teaching Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.
• Opportunities to get involved in both sponsor and investigator initiated research projects

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU‑based, a sign‑on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Job Requirements

Required

• Board‑eligible/Board‑certified in Family Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
• MD or DO Degree
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency
• A passion for providing clinically excellent care
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
