Opportunity:


RN - PACU


Job Details:


• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 8-hour day shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census
• Weekend call required approximately 1 weekend every 6-7 weeks; weekend call begins Friday at 3:30 PM (or at the end of the scheduled shift) and continues through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Weeknight call required approximately 1 night every other week; call begins at 3:30 PM (or at the end of the scheduled shift) and ends at 7:00 AM the following morning
• Holiday rotation on call
• Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience required
• Charting experience with Epic required
• Active Wisconsin or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Strong time management, dependability, adaptability, and compassionate patient care skills expected

This facility is a well-established hospital providing comprehensive medical services to the community, including post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. The PACU unit is staffed by experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to ensuring patient safety and comfort during the critical post-operative recovery phase. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes Epic for charting to support efficient and accurate documentation.
