This is a unique opportunity to become a founding member of the inaugural ICU team and help shape the future of critical care delivery in one of the fastest-growing communities in the Southeast.

Position Highlights

• Full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Night Shift Critical Care opportunity
• Schedule: Six 13-hour shifts per two-week pay period
• Collaborative practice model with experienced intensivists and advanced practice providers
• Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Opportunity to participate in program development, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Epic EMR platform

About Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center

Opening August 26, 2026, Columbia County Medical Center is a new six-story, state-of-the-art, 254,000-square-foot acute care hospital designed to expand access to advanced healthcare services across the Augusta region and surrounding communities. The hospital will feature 100 inpatient beds, advanced surgical services, emergency care, intensive care capabilities, and an adjacent medical office building supporting multiple specialties and outpatient services.
