Senior Staff AccountantAssocia is currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Bedford, NH. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will work closely with our clients and vendors, and partner with other Associa departments. We have been designated Great Place to Work for six consecutive years and many of our locations are awarded as Best and Brightest.The Senior Staff Accountant is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout Bedford, NH.Duties include but are not limited to:Work closely with Community Managers to assist with answering financial questions.Work with outside auditors to answer questions and provide necessary reports.Evaluate, analyze and prioritize data in various forms and formats.Other duties as assignedRequirementsGeneral knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger activity a must.Knowledge of Audit ReportsKnowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures (US GAAP).Possess good written and communication skillsProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.Time management and time critical prioritization skills.EducationBachelor's Degree Preferred5– 7 years of directly related or closely related experience (working as part of an accounting team)We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
