Safety Manager

Responsibilities The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, communicating, and enforcing safety, security, and environmental compliance programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and organizational policies. This includes leading program development, implementation, and day-to-day administration of safety initiatives across facilities. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Pre-Project Preparation – Review the project's safety guidelines, site-specific safety plan, and client-specific safety requirements; coordinate with regional safety lead to ensure all necessary safety measures are in place prior to work. Qualifications Experience in safety management and program development within construction or industrial environments. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations and GCFD or equivalent corporate safety policies.
