About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to coordinate programs and services that support student recruitment, education, retention, and reentry. The role helps advance academic goals and ensures courses and student support services meet the needs of students, faculty, and the community. Responsibilities include monitoring retention, attendance, satisfaction, and certification goals; coordinating advising and reentry processes; and overseeing schedules, faculty coverage, hiring, onboarding, development, and performance support. The Associate Dean also conducts orientations, training, and classroom observations, while ensuring academic operations, personnel, facilities, and curricula meet applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in education or a related field and have at least three years of successful college-level teaching experience; experience in a proprietary school setting is preferred. The role calls for patience, empathy, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills, along with the ability to respond effectively to changing circumstances. Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours, including evenings and Saturdays, as needed.
