Environmental Specialist II/III/IV

Environmental Specialist IV Williams is seeking an Environmental Specialist IV with functional and technical expertise in air, water, and/or waste. The role will manage projects and programs of moderate complexity. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies. Assess environmental risk, recommend actions, and participate or run approved courses of action, including regulatory documentation. Participate in environmental project planning and implementation, including scheduling, cost estimating, preparation of environmental impact assessments and reporting. Provide guidance and mentorship to others. Prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations; coordinate with company partners. Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence investigations as needed. Identify environmental training needs and provide training. Develop, recommend, and implement improvements for systems and practices in air, water, waste management, and remediation activities for assigned areas. Prepare and submit all required compliance reports and certifications; maintain documentation related to environmental compliance programs. Develop relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies. Interpret applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and minimum eight (8) years of environmental experience. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Safety as the utmost priority. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
