The studio supports a diverse range of clients who require clear, professional, and visually cohesive communication for their business information, particularly in presenting financial and operational data in an organized and accessible way. This Bookkeeper position is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and accurate recordkeeping across multiple client accounts, directly upholding the studio’s commitment to quality standards and consistent delivery of client-ready materials. Tech Stack: Accounting software, related digital tools, remote collaboration tools What You’ll Actually Do Manage: Manage daily financial recordkeeping processes for a diverse portfolio of contract, corporate, and high-growth clients. Reconcile: Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions across various accounts to ensure data integrity and completeness. Maintain: Maintain precise general ledgers, meticulously organize accounts payable and receivable data, and uphold consistent financial standards. Report: Prepare basic financial reports for internal review and actively support monthly and quarterly close processes. Collaborate: Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify financial information, ensure documentation completeness, and foster clear communication in a remote setting. The Must-Haves Background: Candidates should possess strong foundational bookkeeping skills, encompassing accurate transaction recording and meticulous general ledger maintenance. A solid understanding of finance principles, particularly regarding the ability to post and review journal entries in line with standard accounting practices, is required. A degree, diploma, or formal coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, along with any applicable certifications. Experience: Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with accounting software and various related digital tools to facilitate efficient and effective remote financial management. Skills: This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong numerical aptitude, and the utmost discretion in handling confidential financial information responsibly. Essential skills also include the ability to prepare and interpret financial statements to support reporting and decision-making, alongside disciplined time management and clear communication within a remote work environment.
