At Eyecare Associates of Nampa, we believe in teamwork, professionalism, and creating an exceptional experience for both our patients and our staff. We are looking for candidates seeking a stable, long-term opportunity with growth within our practice. This position is not intended for summer-only or temporary employment.
Required Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

Clinical Technician job responsibilities include:

Perform patient pre-testing
Obtain medical and vision histories
Assist with contact lens training and education
Enter information into EHR
Order contact lenses
Prepare exam rooms and equipment
Support efficient patient flow
Educate patients on eye care recommendation
Perform special testing

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in an optometric, ophthalmology, medical, or healthcare setting
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
Experience performing patient intake, medical histories, or clinical testing
Contact lens experience
Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology

Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.
