Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mitigation Manager to oversee and coordinate water, fire, and mold damage restoration projects. This leadership role is essential to ensure jobs are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards—while maintaining an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of mitigation technicians
  
  
  
• Oversee all aspects of mitigation projects, from damage assessment to completion
  
  
  
• Conduct job site inspections and develop detailed mitigation plans
  
  
  
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and IICRC guidelines
  
  
  
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors
  
  
  
• Track project timelines, costs, and resource allocations to stay within budget
  
  
  
• Train new technicians on safety, best practices, and customer service expectations
  
  
  
• Maintain and monitor inventory, tools, and equipment
  
  
  
• Prepare accurate documentation and reporting for insurance and internal records
  
  
  
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions between mitigation and reconstruction phases
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in mitigation or restoration (water, fire, mold)
  
  
  
• Proven leadership experience in construction, service, or restoration industries
  
  
  
• IICRC certifications in Water Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, and Applied Structural Drying (preferred)
  
  
  
• First Aid/CPR certification
  
  
  
• Solid understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and mitigation techniques
  
  
  
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  
  
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
  
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
