Supervisor Clinical Nursing / NICU 7 - Full time/Days

Schedule Days - 36 hrs Position Overview NICU Inpatient Clinical Supervisor – Lead with Care, Serve with Compassion Responsibilities Provide direct, hands‑on patient care, ensuring safe, high‑quality treatment while leading by example. Coordinate daily clinical operations, helping the unit run smoothly and efficiently. Support and guide clinical staff, holding team members accountable to the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance. Interpret and communicate policies and procedures clearly to staff, patients, and families. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and safety, promoting a positive and respectful work environment for all. Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. Experience Minimum 2 years nursing experience, including one year in pediatric nursing. Previous supervisory or lead experience (preferred). Skills & Abilities Ability to perform a variety of duties, shift from one task to another efficiently, remain composed under stress, and prioritize tasks. Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) – current Nebraska RN license or RN Compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) – current via the American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – current within 180 days. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – optional for ED and CCU within 180 days (if applicable).
