About the Role:
Velazquez Pain Relief Center in Las Vegas, NV is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our back office team. If you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are passionate about helping patients find relief, this is the opportunity for you!

Locations that have openings;
7425 W Azure (Centennial)
1617 E Windmill Lane (South)
1815 E Lake Mead Blvd (North East)
3820 S Hualapai Way Ste 200 (Summerlin) 

Schedule options are: 4 days a week, 7:30am to 6:15pm or 5 days a week, 9:15am  to 6:15pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Assist physicians and providers with clinical procedures and pain management treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR/EHR systems
• Prepare exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and stocking of medical supplies
• Coordinate lab work, referrals, and medication prior authorizations as needed
• Assist with patient and pharmacy calls

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required, both written and verbal
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
• Previous back office or clinical medical assistant experience required
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or specialty care is a plus
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation
• Strong phlebotomy and injection administration skills
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume clinical setting
