Salary: $168,750 - 281,250 per year Requirements:

• We look for 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, consulting, or technical solutioning within the telecommunications industry, with proven success in carrier-grade environments.
• We need deep expertise in telecommunications technology, especially messaging, voice communications, signaling, network infrastructure, and related protocols.
• We value experience partnering directly with telecommunications carriers, large enterprises, or technology organizations to define and deliver complex solutions.
• We expect a strong ability to turn customer business challenges into technical solutions that are commercially sound, scalable, and implementable.
• We require experience working closely with cross-functional partners across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success.
• We need strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with architects, engineers, product leaders, and executive-level customer stakeholders.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• We need a strong understanding of telecommunications protocols, messaging ecosystems, voice communications technologies, signaling frameworks, and carrier network architecture.
• We value experience designing API-driven solutions and integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs, JSON, and modern application interfaces.
• We look for experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-native architectures.
• We need knowledge of microservices-based architectures, distributed systems, containerized applications, and modern integration patterns.
• We value the ability to evaluate and architect solutions across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Preferred: experience supporting major telecommunications providers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Bandwidth, or similar organizations.
• Preferred: experience responding to RFIs, RFPs, and technical solution proposals.
• Preferred: familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD practices, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Preferred: knowledge of telecommunications standards and frameworks such as GSMA, ATIS, 3GPP, IETF, STIR/SHAKEN, and SIP.
• Preferred: experience creating technical white papers, solution design documentation, customer-facing technical presentations, and reusable architecture artifacts.

• We serve as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to telecommunications carriers and enterprise customers, with a focus on key relationships such as T-Mobile and other global organizations.
• We design and architect carrier-grade solutions across messaging, voice, identity, and fraud prevention domains while balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial value.
• We work directly with customer technology teams, architects, and senior leaders to identify new business opportunities, drive solution adoption, and support revenue growth.
• We capture Voice of Customer insights and translate customer requirements into scalable product enhancements, solution designs, and roadmap recommendations.
• We collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Account Management to bring new solutions from concept through deployment.
• We lead technical discussions, solution workshops, architecture reviews, and customer-facing presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• We contribute to RFI and RFP responses, solution proposals, business cases, white papers, and customer-facing technical documentation.
• We act as the bridge between customer technology teams and internal engineering teams to accelerate delivery, remove technical barriers, and enable successful implementations.
• We support training and enablement efforts for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to increase solution awareness and adoption.
• We contribute to a high-growth business focused on expanding strategic telecommunications partnerships and increasing customer value across global markets.

We are part of TransUnions Trusted Communications Solutions team, partnering with global telecommunications providers and enterprise customers to deliver innovative messaging, voice, identity, and fraud solutions. Our team operates at the intersection of product strategy, customer engagement, and solution architecture, and works closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success to solve complex communications challenges and help shape the roadmap for our telecommunications solutions portfolio. This is a hybrid role with regular work performed both virtually and in person at an assigned TransUnion office location at least two days per week.
