ISD 728 is seeking a Confidential Human Resource Representative and Benefits Administration to provide support to the Human Resources department in a manner which will ensure the department will function effectively and properly. The Confidential Human Resource Representative and Benefits Administration performs a variety of confidential and complex administrative duties in support of all aspects of Human Resources using the designated processes, systems, and tools relevant to the employment life cycle and the administration of various employee benefit and retirement programs. The Confidential Human Resource Representative and Benefits Administration provides input and support for contract negotiations, and functions as the receptionist as needed.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Information and Records Management and Transaction Processing
• Communication and Correspondence
• Employee Relations, Labor Relations and Negotiations
• General clerical and administrative support as needed

Minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years' experience in an office setting AND High School Diploma or GED OR Two (2) years' experience in an office setting AND Associate's Degree OR One (1) year experience in an office setting AND Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Experience in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. Experience in Human Resources and/or Benefits. Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.

• Ability to accurately proofread materials
• Detail-oriented with excellent computer skills (i.e., MS Office Suite) and the ability to learn new computer program applications quickly

• Excellent customer service skills; ability to deal tactfully and effectively in person, over the telephone, or via computer
• Basic mathematical and general office skills, including the ability to safely and efficiently operate office equipment; ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
• Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; the ability to recognize and respond to problems
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules
• Ability to interpret written and oral instructions and understand abstract and concrete ideas and variables
• Ability to switch easily between tasks or focus attention on numerous activities or things at the same time

Working conditions: Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels and multiple interruptions.
