Registered Nurse - Cardiology Unit - Days

Position Registered Nurse - Mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit Location Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus Hours Full-Time, 36 hours/week, with rotating shifts and holiday schedule Responsibilities include Providing age-appropriate bedside and virtual nursing care Monitoring, communicating patient status, and acting as a resource for bedside RNs Performing medication reconciliation, procedure checklists, and discharge planning Educating patients and families, documenting interactions in EPIC Qualifications Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification ACLS and NIHSS within 6 months of start Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred), with a requirement to obtain a BSN within five years if holding an ADN 1+ year inpatient nursing experience preferred Skills Knowledge of patient needs, effective communication, and teamwork Benefits Competitive pay, career growth opportunities, healthcare options, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, retirement plans, and community involvement #J-18808-Ljbffr Live Well Homecare
