Physical Therapist

Role The physical therapist develops and implements treatment programs across all ages, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Assess patient needs and create individualized treatment plans to promote health and functional recovery. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, respecting cultural diversity. Engage in professional development, sharing knowledge through participation in educational activities. Supervise and mentor staff and students, contributing to training and orientation efforts. Evaluate patient progress, modify treatment strategies, and document care accurately. Participate in discharge planning, recommending adaptive equipment and training for maximum independence. Promote evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with departmental policies, safety, and infection control procedures. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required. Licensure: Valid license as a Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
