Energy Manager

Role Description

The Energy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing energy programs to help our clients achieve their ambitious environmental sustainability goals and targets. To seamlessly deliver energy programs and achieve targets, you will work closely with the account teams including facility managers, engineers, project managers, vendors, strategic partners, and other service suppliers across the client account team. You will help manage and communicate energy performance by tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting metrics across the client real estate portfolios. You will assist account teams with utility forecasts, utility data management, rate analysis and optimization, energy conservation measures, energy savings calculations, and facility audits. Finally, you will also monitor and report key trends to support continuous improvement of the clients’ energy management program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in subjects such as engineering, environmental science, energy management, sustainability or equivalent through experience
• At least five years of experience in an engineering or analytical role related to building management, commercial real estate, energy services, consulting, or similar
• Ability to perform energy savings calculations for HVAC, building envelope, lighting, and other upgrades using Excel and building simulation models
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing comprehensive energy management programs
• Experienced with benchmarking and analyzing utility data to drive sustainability measures
• Advanced skills in software applications such as MS Excel and PowerBI

• Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience developing presentation materials for clients and their stakeholders
