About the Role

The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering a broad range of human resources services that support business objectives and employee engagement. This role serves as a key partner to managers, supervisors and employees across the employee lifecycle, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to talent acquisition activities and 50% focused on general HR operations, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR programs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively balance recruiting priorities with core HR responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

Talent Acquisition (50%)  

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Create and post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through interviews and assessments.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, including scheduling and candidate communications.
• Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment screening activities.
• Prepare and extend employment offers and negotiate compensation within established guidelines.
• Maintain talent pipelines and develop proactive sourcing strategies.
• Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
• Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment campaigns.
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive onboarding experience for new employees.

 

Human Resources Generalist (50%)  

• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
• Support employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
• Administer HR programs and processes including performance reviews, employee recognition, and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries regarding benefit programs.
• Support compensation activities, salary reviews, and market benchmarking initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision-making.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support training and development programs and organizational change initiatives.

Additional Expectations

• Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.

• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.

• Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.

• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What   You’ll Bring  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant recruiting responsibility.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple job levels and functions.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes.
• Experience working with HRIS (UKG) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
