Overview
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab (EP Lab RN) travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 4x10 Days. Weekly pay: $2,788–$3,042 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This hospital-based unit focuses on electrophysiology procedures and monitoring, with EPIC charting required. Scrubs are provided, and orientation is 40 hours. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist with electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac ablation, mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies; participate in pacemaker/AICD insertion and programming.
- Manage vascular access, sheath removal, vascular closure devices, and topical hemostasis; monitor ACT during procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after EP procedures; assist with sedation/vasopressor administration as directed.
- Operate and integrate information from the Micropace monitoring system for ablations; provide real-time data and device support.
- Perform IV starts and phlebotomy; document procedure details and device data in the charting system.
- Maintain accurate nursing assessments, respond to dysrhythmia events, and recognize/manage complications per protocol.

Requirements
- Active New York RN licensed to practice (in hand for submission)
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Electrophysiology experience: minimum 1 year required; 2 years preferred; first-timers accepted
- EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
- Phlebotomy and IV competency mandatory for this unit
- Ability to scrub and assist with EP procedures; familiarity with Micropace monitoring system
- RTO: No more than 10 days; no more than 1 week is preferred; confirm with account manager
- Local radius: Not accepting candidates who reside within 75 miles of the assignment location
