(USA) Material Handler, Manufacturing (Starting pay $25.00, Sa-Mo, 6p-6:30a) MEAT PLANT #11269, 20200 W 167th St, Olathe, KS 66062-0000 Position Summary Responsible for managing freight flow in a meat plant environment, ensuring adherence to company policies and cold chain compliance. Key Responsibilities Complete work assignments by utilizing company policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; and recommending improvements. Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers); identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight; using warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners; and maintaining accurate records and logs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy in daily business practices. Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using manual or powered equipment. Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
