The Z3 Project is an initiative of the Oshman Family JCC dedicated to reimagining Jewish engagement for the 21st century. Our mission is to shape a vibrant Jewish future through honest dialogue and stronger relationships between Diaspora Jewry and Israel. From publishing new Zionist frameworks to training hundreds of leaders across North America, Z3 is building a dynamic ecosystem of programs, partners, and thought leaders advancing Jewish renewal.

The job: Are you a creative who enjoys promoting fresh new ideas, programs, and content through communication strategies and marketing? Then this is the job for you! As the Z3 Marketing and Communications Manager, you will own the marketing and communication strategy to promote and grow the Z3 platform and brand. You will manage the Z3 Project platform and advance its programs, ideas, messages, and content across the Z3 ecosystem.

The Core Duties:

• Translate Z3’s organizational priorities and goals into a strategic marketing and communications campaign that promotes the Z3 platform.
• Develop, executive and manage a strategic marketing calendar that identifies where the Z3 platform should be marketed and promoted.
• Drive and manage marketing projects and campaigns from initial brief through completion; coordinating timelines, assets, approvals and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-schedule.
• Deliver a coherent and compelling story to strengthen and increase awareness and understanding of Z3 content, including programs, ideas and platforms.
• Develop, create, edit and distribute Z3 content across various outreach distribution channels that demonstrates strong creative and editorial judgement deliverables.

The Essentials:

• High School diploma/GED equivalent required
• 4+ years of relevant marketing or communications experience or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
• 3-5 years of experience working for non-profit, educational, cultural, publishing or other mission-driven organizations; a plus
• Strong marketing judgement and demonstrated ability to translate organizational goals into effective marketing campaigns.
• Proven ability to translate ideas into creative marketing strategies. Identify problems and provide creative marketing solutions.
• Excellent writing, communication and edits skills. Ability to communicate information clearly in English, written and oral.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, organized, with good time management and great follow-up skills
• Ability to problem solve, take initiative, set priorities, handle multiple projects and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment
• Extremely organized and detailed oriented
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to cultivate partnerships
• Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
• Hands-on proficiency with project management tools, analytic tools, social media management and basic design or video editing tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to use generative AI and emerging tools in an ethical manner with human oversight.
• Knowledge of Jewish life, Israel, and Zionism strongly preferred
• Outstanding knowledge Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Google Suite
• Be a team and collaborative team player and ability to interact with a broad spectrum of internal and external customers and business partners
• Flexible in a fast-paced setting with competing and ever-changing tasks and remain calm and composed under pressure. Be able to adapt to situations and find new solutions. 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed
• Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
• Hebrew language skills a plus but not required
