Senior Accountant - Hybrid

DescriptionKforce's client, a rapidly growing publicly traded company is seeking a Senior Accountant in Princeton, NJ. This role is hybrid and will be in the office 3 days and 2 days remote.Responsibilities:* Assistance with monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting for various components of the company* Senior Accountant will execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process within clearly specified time frames, following established internal control processes and procedures* Perform analytical functions necessary to achieve an accurate and timely general ledger month-end close; Duties include analysis of income statements, balance sheets, and equity transactions, preparation of financial statements, and general accounting support for financed and non-financed projects* Assist with the preparation of quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP to comply with the reporting requirements of lender and ownership agreements, which includes tax equity and cash equity ownership structures* Assist with researching technical accounting and reporting matters, accounting principles, and financial reporting rules* As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with and respond to ad hoc requests from key stakeholders within the organization* Assist with special projects* Support the annual audit process for standalone auditsThis company offers opportunity to growth, along with a year-end target bonus of 15% and great work life balance!Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university; CPA and/or Master's degree in Accounting preferred; SAP experience is a plus* Minimum 2 years in public accounting audit experience &/or 4 years in general accounting* Knowledge of ERP accounting system* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Practical understanding and application of internal control processes and procedures over financial accounting and reporting* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel* Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers* Energy or real estate company experience is a plusJob TypeDirect HireCompensation95000 - $105000
