There is a Women’s Health component to the position as pelvic pain affects 25% of women of reproductive age. In the US chronic pelvic pain affects 28 million women and is projected to grow to 43.6 million by 2050 according to the NICHD. Most of our female patients suffer from underlying Gynecological issues, Endometriosis being the most prevalent as it is a chronic disease that affects one in nine women and presents with pelvic pain and infertility. Persistent pelvic pain is often overlooked, untreated, and misguided. At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms.
