FreshFin is changing the fast-casual dining experience, and we want you to be a part of it as the Assistant General Manager of our FreshFin Bayshore Shopping Center shop!

Our Assistant General Managers (AGMs) assist our General Managers overseeing a full-service back of house operation, as well as an upscale fast-casual front of house model.

Our AGMs recognize that the administrative aspects of their role are important to maintaining the financial health of their shop and they assist with things like team communication, vendor purchasing, receiving deliveries, food safety and prep standards, customer service and recovery, and monitoring inventory levels to minimize food waste and optimize food cost.

You aren't afraid to get in the dish pit or help dice tuna. You lead by example, and you don't ask Team Members to do anything you wouldn't do yourself. Above all else, you are laser-focused on providing a memorable dining experience to our guests that makes them want to return to our shops again and again!

Role and Responsibilities of an Assistant General Manager:

• You have at least 1 or 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Your willingness to support both front of house and kitchen operations.
• If you have previous experience in a full-service dining or fast-casual restaurant, that's a plus!
• You are focused on training the Team both in the kitchen and front-of-house, and holding the Team to the company standards.

When supporting the kitchen, you will have the opportunity to:

• Use your culinary skills by preparing proteins, vegetables, and sauces to FreshFin specifications and standards.
• Work on the food line and prepare our delicious bowls to exact recipe standards and within ticket time expectations.

When supporting the front-of-house, you will have the opportunity to:

• Make a great first impression by enthusiastically welcoming guests into the shop and clearly communicating your knowledge of our menu and restaurant promotions/specials.
• Exude your passion for FreshFin's great-tasting, nutritious food by making menu recommendations. With a free meal each shift, you'll be able to sample it all!
• Accurately take guest food and/or beverage orders and input those orders into our point-of-sale system with a high degree of attention to detail to enable the kitchen team to prepare food to exact customer specifications.
• Keep guests happy by retrieving and delivering food to guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

When supporting the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Train and enforce food safety, and company and quality standards with the Team.
• Track food waste and find ways to minimize waste which impacts the shop's profitability.
• Assist with vendor purchasing and inventory management.
• Help with customer recovery and training a high level of customer service with the Team.
• Learn about sales tracking and forecasting, P&L management, and driving shop sales and profitability.
• Step in as the "Acting GM" when the GM is away from the shop and drive FreshFin's core values with the Team and customers.
