Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:
- Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues
- Assist in maintaining a safe and functional environment for residents and staff
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Ensure equipment and building systems operate efficiently
- Follow all facility safety procedures and maintenance protocols
- Support the Maintenance Director with daily projects and repairs
Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant, maintenance technician, or related role preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Day Shift
- Every Other Weekend Required
- Emergency On-Call Rotation Required
