Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, specializing in PCU/IMC/Stepdown, to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for cardiac and vascular surgery patients.
• Manage and titrate drips including heparin, amiodarone, and Cardizem.
• Collaborate effectively with unit charge nurses and house supervisors around the clock.
• Adapt to floating requirements across the Heart and Vascular Institute as needed.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data with the support of Monitor Techs on the unit.
• Work shifts of 12 hours covering nights and every other weekend, complying with holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for submission with relevant credentials in place.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Significant experience in cardiac and vascular patient care.
• Ability to titrate and manage various medical drips.
• Willingness to participate in 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation.
• Proficient in using EPIC charting system.
