IT Security Analyst

Job Summary:

The IT Security Analyst 1 plays a critical role in supporting software procurement and renewal processes by conducting cybersecurity risk assessments, documenting findings, and ensuring alignment between procurement and IT workflows. This position collaborates closely with business, procurement, and IT teams to facilitate risk review, process improvement, and reporting efforts. Responsibilities:

Perform cybersecurity risk assessments for new software requests and renewals. Enter and manage assessment data in OneTrust and ServiceNow platforms. Provide comments and documentation related to risk assessments. Collaborate with business units, procurement, and IT teams to clarify requirements. Support process mapping, workflow improvements, and reduction of duplicate steps. Track workload, turnaround time, and reporting metrics. Required Skills & Certifications:

3+ years of experience with cybersecurity risk assessment and third-party risk tools such as OneTrust. 3+ years familiarity with IT procurement workflows and platforms including ServiceNow and Ohio Buys. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple requests. Ability to adapt quickly as processes evolve. Experience in process mapping and workflow improvement. Experience supporting procurement-related risk review processes. Special Considerations:

Hybrid work environment with onsite presence required every third day. Full onsite interviews are required as part of the hiring process. Scheduling:

Work location: Columbus, OH. Work schedule is hybrid with onsite attendance every third day. Contract duration: 8 months.
