Job Summary And Qualifications The Coordinator Therapist acts as a crucial bridge between patients, clinical staff, and facility management to ensure individualized patient treatment plans are successfully executed. Core Responsibilities Treatment Planning Assessments & Reporting Patient Advocacy & Education Process Coordination Qualifications & Requirements Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (Masfer’s pref) in Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field. Licensure/Certification: State licensure (e.g., Licensed Mental Health Professional or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist). Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, inpatient psychiatric, or healthcare case management setting is strongly preferred.
