Position Overview Location: Peekamoose dorm, Red Hook campus. Salary: $62,353.20 per year. Responsibilities Coordinate aspects of daily operations for assigned residences in conjunction with the Residential Director. Oversee compliance to OPWDD regulations in the assigned residence. Oversee daily operation and all procedural routines, including resident inventories, residence supply inventories, food inventories, recreation supplies, etc. Ensure proper staffing ratio and monitor benefit use and overtime in conjunction with the Residential Director. Ensure staff receive all necessary trainings during orientation and on an annual basis. Ensure Treatment Team and treatment planning meetings are prepared for and attended by assigned residence staff and that Treatment Team procedures are followed and implemented when necessary. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate’s Degree or 60+ credits required, or three years of experience in a mental health field may substitute academic requirement. Two years of progressively responsible positions in a residential setting that programs for the same population (age, diagnosis, etc.). Valid driver’s license. Flexibility, patience, energy, creativity, and a sense of humor. Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs. Completion of The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children. Physical Requirements Pre-employment physical required. Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, stooping, bending & standing required. Frequent planned outside activities causing exposure to sunlight and heat. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. Good manual dexterity.
