Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician specializing in hospital inpatient settings. This role is ideal for professionals looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic hospital environment, working closely with pharmacy teams to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Accurately verify prescription orders and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist pharmacists in managing medication inventory and supply.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care and medication safety.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician certification and relevant state licensure.
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital inpatient environment.
- Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmacy procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
