We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Workshop Helper. Long-term career opportunity. In this role, you will support our daily shop and yard operations by preparing parts, assisting with assemblies, and maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Clean parts thoroughly using solvent tanks and other designated cleaning methods.
• Use power tools including grinders, die grinders, wire wheels, and torque tools. Perform number stamping, tighten bolts, secure fasteners, and assist with general assembly and prepping of items.
• Arrange and organize inventory in the Yard and Back Pad areas. Keep both the front work pad and back pad clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Perform routine shop housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
• Assist the Repairs department with various tasks and special projects as needed.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and inventory around the facility.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Experience using power tools (grinders, torque tools, etc.) in a shop or industrial setting is preferred.
• Forklift experience or the ability to be trained and certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the day.
• Physical agility to adjust body positions, including frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to shop safety.
