Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of litigation experience to join its headquarters in lower Manhattan. NY and NJ bar admission required for diverse practice including professional liability, securities litigation, medical malpractice, labor & employment and insurance broker liability.

You’ll get hands-on experience, real responsibility, and the opportunity to work on cases that actually challenge you.

You’ll:

• Manage your own cases and help drive them toward resolution

• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery

• Take part in depositions, hearings, and mediations

• Work directly with clients

• Research complex legal issues and develop case strategy

• Work closely with experienced attorneys and learn by doing

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey

• Has 1–6 years of litigation experience

• Writes well and thinks critically

• Can manage multiple priorities without losing the details

• Wants to keep learning and take on more responsibility

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Base Range: $100,000 - $160,000 USD (not including bonus)
