We are looking for an Interim Resident Services Director to join our team!

This position will facilitate the successful operation of the Residential Care Department. The Interim Resident Services Director supervises other associates and coordinates Resident Care Programs to comply with state regulations and Company Policy and Procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise resident care staff, provide training, set and adjust rates of pay and hours of work, provide formal and informal performance feedback, recognize both appropriate and inappropriate behaviors/performances through rewards and discipline, and apportion work among subordinates.
• Interview residents and families prior to admission and coordinate pre-admission screening and assessment. Evaluate resident care needs and determine required level of care upon admission and changes in condition. Maintain clear records of all resident changes, requests, and irregularities.
• Update medical charts and care plan.
• Observe residents' health status and take actions to address concerns within scope of practice.
• Record and notify Executive Director, physician, pharmacist, and family of any significant changes to resident's health status and/or reactions to drugs, treatments, or significant incidents.
• Order medications from pharmacy, maintain records, and ensure that medications are properly stored and cared for
• Implement orientation and education programs that explain the philosophy of service in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
• Schedule Personal Care Assistants, develop daily tasks, and make assignments.
• Verify employee hours on timecards and payroll reports and arrange replacement staffing when necessary.
• Monitor associates in administration of mediation, including frequent audits of medication records. Interview and test job applicants.
• Continually assess resident needs in relation to associate training needs to determine priorities in designing an ongoing orientation program.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid LPN in good standing.
• This position also requires 2-3 years of supervisory experience, prior care experience in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility, and valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Able to speak, read, write and understand the English language fluently.

$750 Sign-on Bonus!! (Pay out period 90 day)

Job Specifications:

• Full-Time
• Must be available for day and afternoon shifts.
• PRN.
• Must be available weekends.
