Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing both physical examinations and careful examinations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and laboratory test results
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including the preparation of surgical environments, patient positioning, and instrument exchanges during procedures
• Ensure high-quality pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound assessments, discharge processes, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably, completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
