CNC Lathe Machinist Phoenix, AZ; On-site; Full-time Join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Phoenix where precision matters and your skills help produce mission-critical components. Were hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists who can independently set up, run, and prove out parts on modern Fanuc-controlled turning centers. Multiple shifts available. Pay Range: $25$35/hr Shift: 2nd Shift (MonThurs) (+8% Shift Differential) What Youll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes and turning centers utilizing Fanuc controls Perform complete machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and program prove-outs Machine aerospace components to tight tolerances and quality requirements Utilize machine probing and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and maintain process control Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, surface finish concerns, and tolerance drift Maintain production efficiency while ensuring compliance with quality standards What Were Looking For 5+ years of CNC lathe machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments Proven ability to perform independent setups and program prove-outs Strong experience with Fanuc controls Experience machining tight-tolerance components (0.001 or better) Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment Familiarity with live tooling, multi-axis lathes, or twin-spindle machines is a plus Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented COM055 Nesco Resource is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
