Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Proficiency with EPIC - IV Start experience - Telemetry experience - Ventilator management experience Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro, Surgical, Medical, and Cardiology. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Candidates must hold two years of ICU experience and be current in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Proficiency with EPIC is required. Responsibilities include IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. Position involves working with diverse patient demographics. This role may require floating across various units to accommodate staffing needs. All candidates must complete required documentation and processes as soon as possible after contract signing.
