Accounting Manager

Join a well-established organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join its experienced accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a hands-on role, wants to take on broader responsibility, and is interested in long-term growth with a stable company.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong general accounting background, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both accounting and operational leadership. This position is onsite in the Mechanicsburg area and offers a supportive team environment, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for continued growth.



Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Previous leadership experience or the ability to step into a supervisory role
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional accounting environment is a plus

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting activities for assigned areas of the business
• Manage general ledger activity, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and related accounting functions
• Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Work closely with the Controller, operational leadership, and other members of the accounting team
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues
• Supervise and support accounting staff responsible for day-to-day transactional functions
• Ensure accounting processes follow established company policies and procedures
