Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in the vicinity of Orland Park, IL and surrounding areas. In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role supporting the PreK-8th grade population across elementary school settings. The assignment runs from August 18th to June 4th, with the possibility of an extension if emergency days arise.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate school psychologist endorsement
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educational teams and effectively support student needs
• Minimum one year’s experience as a school psychologist in a school setting
• Strong assessment, counseling, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with PreK-8th grade preferred
• Not accepting new graduates for this role; previous relevant experience required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychoeducational assessments, participate in team meetings, and provide recommendations for interventions and supports
• Manage a caseload of up to 180 students, shared with another experienced school psychologist
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive student outcomes
• Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and support special education eligibility processes
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to students across the PreK-8th grade spectrum
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere closely to district and state standards

• Full-time, 35-37 hours per week
• Schedule options: 8am-4pm or 7:30am-3:30pm
