Opportunity:


RN - Cardiac Cath Lab


Job Details:


• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Work in 2-room department: 1 EP/Cath room and 1 Cath Lab
• Handle approximately 4 cases per day
• Care for patients undergoing diagnostics, interventional procedures, femoral and radial approach, IFR, FFR, balloon pumps
• Assist with EP procedures including pacemakers, AICS, loop recorders, diagnostic EP, right sided ablations
• Must have cardiac cath lab and critical care experience (ED or ICU)
• Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers required
• Participate in 24/7, 365 STEMI Program
• Weekend rotation on call only
• Saturday and Sunday call from 8:00 AM to noon for stress tests, TEEs and cardioversions
• Holiday call required
• Float only between rooms in department and pre-op area
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Work with EPIC EMR system, Maclab hemodynamic system, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE C-arms
• Scrubs provided, leads available but recommended to bring own
• Must maintain excellent communication skills and work well in interdisciplinary teams
• Free parking available

This healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with a Level III NICU, operating 72 beds total. The cardiac catheterization laboratory provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including diagnostic and interventional procedures with advanced technology and equipment. The facility maintains a collaborative environment with strong departmental support including respiratory therapy, hospitalist services, and dedicated administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
