We are seeking an Assembler to join our clients manufacturing team in Beloit, WI. This position is responsible for assembling and subassembling foodservice equipment and related products, including pressure fryers, ventless fryers, pressure smokers, broilers, filters, and accessory items. Position is on 1st shift from 6am-4pm, Monday-Thursday with a pay of $16-$18/hr.


The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical and assembly skills, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and basic wiring schematics. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities

• Assemble and subassemble products using hand tools and portable power tools.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, and otherwise fasten parts and components together.
• Operate equipment such as arbor presses, drill presses, riveting machines, and tube flaring equipment.
• File, saw, deburr, and drill parts using hand and power tools.
• Align parts and components using jigs, fixtures, and templates.
• Perform final electrical checks and assembly inspections.
• Perform hydrostatic tests as required.
• Complete required paperwork, inspection forms, and test sheets accurately.
• Load completed equipment onto skids and move products to the shipping department.
• Assist with packing and crating finished products.
• Crate smaller product lines as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

Requirements: Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred/required.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to understand basic assembly processes and instructions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and understand basic wiring schematics.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods, including up to 5 hours at a time.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, climb, and walk throughout the workday.
• Must be comfortable using hand and power tools throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Standing, walking, sitting, and bending for extended periods may be required.
