We're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Accountant to join our team in Huntsville, AL. A day in the life of an Accountant: As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in daily accounting operations. You will support AR reporting, monthly closing activities, and sales order processing. In this role, you will: Issue invoices and perform collections follow-up Support with entering sales orders and purchase requisitions Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Support month-end close tasks Analyze and maintain financial and business transactions Apply accounting principles to provide analytical, evaluative, and advisory insights This position requires a solid understanding of accounting theory and practice, along with familiarity in related areas such as government contracting and general management principles. The projected annual salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 (USD) . Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as work location, education, experience, skills, organizational requirements, and contractspecific budget parameters. This range reflects what is typically offered for the role and represents only one component of Octave Federal's total compensation package, which may also include benefits and other forms of remuneration.
