Job Description

Certified Apartment Staffing is looking for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join an apartment community in Houma!

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION — APARTMENT/MULTIFAMILY MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

MUST have previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience
Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills
EPA/HVAC certification strongly preferred
Experience with residential HVAC systems
Must be comfortable handling work orders independently
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and other apartment maintenance
Make-ready/unit turn experience is a plus
Reliable, professional, and able to communicate effectively with residents and management
Must be able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Must have reliable transportation
Must be available to start ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose and repair HVAC issues
Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
Perform preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues
Assist with apartment turns and make-ready work
Maintain common areas and property equipment
Provide excellent customer service to residents
