Pediatrics Physician

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatrics Physician to join our community health center team. The provider will support a diverse patient population, including newborns through age 18, in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, and have previous experience in similar clinical environments or demonstrate a strong interest in working with these groups. Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records is required. The provider will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. The role involves seeing up to 18 patients per day, requiring the ability to efficiently manage a high-volume caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality pediatric care across all ages
• Support a multidisciplinary team including medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatricians where available
• Manage a fast-paced schedule with efficiency and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and credentialing requirements
• Document patient visits accurately in EPIC EMR

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active Washington State medical license
• Active WA DEA license
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Must have a clean background with no malpractice history
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications if required (e.g., BLS, ACLS) during credentialing
• Experience working with vulnerable populations is preferred

Travel and Reimbursements:

Travel expenses such as flights, rental cars or mileage, and lodging will be covered by the client.

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $125.97

Additional Details:

• Contract length: 3 months, with the possibility to extend
• Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks
• Must be COVID and flu vaccinated
• Provider will be expected to start patient care by day 3 after onboarding
