Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities Include Implementing and following patient-specific treatment plans Documenting patient progress accurately and timely Utilizing therapy software effectively Assisting in patient transfers and evacuations as needed Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care Maintaining confidentiality and adherence to legal and organizational policies Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT) Current licensure or registration in applicable state, with ongoing licensure in good standing CPR certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication Excellent communication, professionalism, and patient service skills Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate good body mechanics Key Attributes & Duties Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards Maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, and patients Display integrity and professionalism per organizational code of conduct Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment focused on functional progress and quality of life #J-18808-Ljbffr
